Block Express
Freight goals require controlled stacking
Block Express combines falling-block rows with line and cargo goals. Left and right move, Up rotates, Down soft-drops and Space hard-drops. A hard drop commits the piece, so first confirm its orientation and the landing space. A small empty cavity under the stack can become much harder to reach once another row covers it.
E holds or swaps once per piece. Use that opportunity to preserve a shape you actually need, not simply to postpone every uncomfortable choice. Compare the held piece with the board and the visible goal before exchanging. Filling rows matters, but the current cargo requirement determines what counts as useful progress.
Later pressure and failure conditions
Later stages introduce garbage and higher speed. Topping out or exhausting the available pieces loses the attempt. Leave room to respond and avoid making a tall narrow dependency on a single future shape. A safer stack can outperform a more ambitious setup when the piece budget is almost spent.
The current build’s touch controls mirror its placement actions. Input after a pause should be deliberate rather than a held key left over from navigation. For a report, capture the stack, active and held piece, goal and remaining pieces before the failing placement.
