Steal an Egg (Steal a Egg) — Egg Stealer
Plan the return before taking the egg
Egg Stealer, formerly Egg Thief, combines a three-dimensional chase with camp progression and hatchable companions. Twenty different animal guardians create different escape situations. Choose a guardian you can outrun with the speed you currently have. The route back to camp matters before the theft, because a visible egg can be easy to reach but difficult to bring home.
Learn the outward path while it is relatively safe. Decide where to turn, jump or dash on the return and avoid spending every movement option on the approach. A deeper region is not automatically the best next target if your current movement still makes the return unreliable.
Use camp growth to change the next attempt
Coins and speed upgrades provide a reason to return to camp between risks. Make one upgrade decision, then compare the same route before moving deeper. Companions and hatching are part of progression, not a promise that every guardian behaves identically or that a rare result is guaranteed after a fixed number of attempts.
Keyboard and touch prompts belong to the current game build. On a phone, practise movement and camera interaction near safety first. Feedback should identify the guardian, region, speed state and whether failure occurred on the approach or return. That is more actionable than clearing the save and starting over.
Move, steal and recover control
Use WASD or the arrow keys to move, E to steal, Space to jump and either Shift key to dash. P pauses. Touch controls provide a movement stick and separate STEAL, JUMP and DASH actions. Practise those inputs near camp before carrying an egg; reaching for a control during a chase is harder than learning it in safety. After changing tabs or losing focus, check the pause state and start a fresh input rather than assuming the previous key or touch is still held.
Read the owner, not just the size of the animal
Only the owner of the stolen egg wakes; approaching an idle guardian does not itself start every nearby chase. Different species use different pursuit patterns, including warned rushes with recovery. Read the current signs and warning before committing to a turn. Matching a displayed cruise speed does not guarantee escape from a peak-speed move. Plan to cross the safety line and complete delivery on the ground rather than treating a jump near camp as a completed return.
Being caught loses the egg from that attempt while saved coins and companions remain. Compare the failed route with a nearer region before deleting any progress. A useful practice loop is to secure an achievable return, spend earned coins on boots at camp, and retry a familiar route to understand the change. This is local browser progress, so another device or private window need not contain the same collection.
